The Mid-Autumn Festival (also known as Mooncake Festival) in China is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar Month in the Chinese Calendar.
This festival is a celebration of the rice harvest and many fruits. Ceremonies are held both to give thanks for the harvest and encourage the harvest-giving light to return again in the coming year.
It is also a time for reunion for families, a little like Thanksgiving. In China, we celebrate by gathering for dinners, lighting paper lanterns and eating mooncakes.
This year at LS Technology, the management has prepared Mooncake for every staff.
